Program Description
The online post-baccalaureate certificate in Entrepreneurship provides development and external validation of entrepreneurial leadership skills and application. It addresses problem-solving skill development primarily at the individual level; however, concepts extend to team/departmental/project and full organization levels. Students who complete the program are better prepared to launch or grow a business across a variety of industries and profit orientations. Individuals working on graduate degrees; active military members; entrepreneurs; those working in large, small, and microenterprises; and consultants will find the certificate valuable.
Admission Requirements
In addition to the admissions criteria established by the Graduate School, the program also requires the following:
GPA and/or previous degree
An undergraduate degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education, with a 3.0 GPA average on the last 60 hours.
An applicant who has successfully completed a graduate degree previously or who has a letter of recommendation from an employer does not have to meet the undergraduate grade point average requirement.
Transfer of Credits to the M.E. program: If a student desires to complete the Master of Entrepreneurship (M.E.) degree program after completing the certificate program, and the student meets the admission requirements for the M.E. program, the student can apply all applicable credits earned with a grade of B or higher in the certificate program to the M.E. program.
