Chemistry (General Concentration), BS

Total number of hours for the program: 120.

This concentration is intended for those students wishing to pursue a career in a specific chemistry-related discipline other than biochemistry. Students should choose the chemistry courses in the concentration that best represent the chemistry sub-discipline of choice. Students should also consider completing general electives in their intended area of specialization. For example, students wishing to pursue a career in environmental chemistry should consider additional course work in areas such as biology, geology, natural resource management, or environmental health.
