Program Admission Requirements

In addition to the Graduate School Admission Requirements, applicants must have a cumulative grade point average of B or higher in all upper-level undergraduate coursework. Applicants with a cumulative grade point average of 3.49 or lower must present satisfactory scores on the verbal, quantitative, and analytical writing portions of the General Test of the Graduate Record Examinations (GRE), Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT), or Law School Admission Test (LSAT). Three recommendations from former instructors or employers who are in a position to judge the applicant's aptitude for graduate study, as well as a goal statement, are required as part of the application. Program Description

The Master of Health Sciences degree program requires a minimum of 33 semester hours of approved graduate coursework. The curriculum is composed of two parts: (1) core courses; and (2) concentrations in  health education, health management, nutrition, and emergency medical care. 

In addition to the academic requirements, students are expected to adhere to the technical and professional standards of the program.
