The B.S. in Engineering degree is a general engineering degree program. Courses in the degree program will be offered on the Cullowhee and Biltmore Park campuses.

Major Requirements
Note: Four courses (12 credits) required for this program also meet Liberal Studies requirements: ENGR 199, MATH 153, CHEM 139 and PHYS 230. Students must be aware that if these courses are not taken to meet Liberal Studies requirements, they will still need to be completed for the B.S. in Engineering degree. The major requires 96 hours. 12 of which also meet the Liberal Studies requirements. Engineering Core (36 hours)

Additional Requirements
To graduate with a B.S. in Engineering degree, all students must have a cumulative GPA of 2.2 or higher for all courses in the major taken at Western Carolina University. |
