Additional requirements

General electives (22 hours), and EDEL 312 are required to complete the program. At least 32 hours of the courses taken at Western Carolina University must be at the junior-senior level to meet one of the general university degree requirements. Students must maintain a minimum 2.75 GPA in the major, and no grade below a C (2.0) for any required course in the major will be accepted.
