The Department of Engineering and Technology offers upper level courses for two year college graduates at three off campus sites: Asheville, Hickory (Morganton), and Spindale, North Carolina. Graduates earn a B.S. degree in Engineering Technology - Distance. This program is accredited by Southern Association of Colleges (SACS). Accreditation by the Accreditation Board for Engineering Technology (ABET) is anticipated in 2010.
