EE 414 - Advanced Digital Communications

This course presents concepts of advanced digital communications including signal space, additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN), optimum detections and BER analysis, receiver equalizers, measure of information, mutual information, channel capacity and basics of error correcting codes. Course topics are reinforced with computer simulations.

Prerequisites: A grade of C or better in EE 412  .
