CSD 425 - Introduction to Social Communication and ASD

This course explores issues related to social communication and autism spectrum disorder (ASD) across the lifespan. Aspects of management to be discussed include assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of communication and social skills impairments and systems of support for individuals with ASD and their families. Upon completing the course, the students will be able to demonstrate the ability to reflect on holistic and comprehensive management of communication disorders in ASD.
