WLL 380 - Immersion Experience

This course provides an opportunity for students to reflect on an immersion experience that has deepened their understanding of a foreign culture and its language. Experiences may include study abroad programs in a country where their concentration language is spoken (short-term faculty-led, semester-long, or yearlong), internships or volunteer work with international organizations in the US or abroad, volunteer roles serving non-English-speaking communities, or significant involvement in internationally focused WCU campus organizations. S/U grading.

Prerequisites: Permission of department head.
