ECET 361 - Electronic Communication Fundamentals


Fundamentals of communication theory including spectral analysis, noise, and modulation techniques.  Analog and digital modulation including AM, FM, ASK, PSK, and FSK are covered. Communication system designs are implemented through lab experiments. Software is used for communications system simulation and signal analysis. 3 Lecture, 2 Lab.

Prerequisites: A grade of C or better in ECET 321 ; and completion of, or concurrent enrollment in ECET 242  and MATH 255 .
