CSD 380 - Anatomy and Physiology of the Speech and Swallowing Mechanism


This course explains the anatomy and physiology of the respiratory, phonatory, resonatory, articulatory, and nervous systems involved in the planning and execution of speech and swallowing. Upon completing this course, students will demonstrate the ability to explain speech and swallowing function in terms of their structures and integrated functions.
