BIOL 291 - Human Anatomy and Physiology I BIOL 291 is the first of a two-course series addressing the structure and function of the human body. Topics include an introduction to anatomy and physiology, anatomical terminology, homeostasis and feedback mechanisms, basic chemical concepts of living organisms, cells, tissues, and the digestive, integumentary, and musculoskeletal systems. The level of course content is designed for pre-nursing and allied health professions students. 3 Lecture, 3 Lab (Lecture-3 credits, Lab-1 credit. Lab is required). (Liberal Studies C5).
Prerequisites: Completed 24 hours. Corequisites: Lab must be taken concurrently with lecture. Credits: 4
