CHEM 567 - Nanomaterials: Fundamentals and Applications This course provides a comprehensive overview of nanomaterials in terms of synthesis, characterization, properties, and applications. This course covers fundamental scientific principles for different synthesis techniques, assembly of nanostructured materials, physical and chemical properties at the nanoscale, and different characterization techniques for nanomaterials. Existing and emerging applications of nanomaterials are also discussed.
Prerequisites: Enrollment in the Chemistry Accelerated B.S./M.S. (ABM) Track and a grade of C- or better in CHEM 242 lecture and CHEM 370 ; or enrollment in the Chemistry MS program. Credits: 3
