EDCI 488 - Global Teaching and Learning Internship

The Global Teaching & Learning Internship is an optional internship experience for selected interns who complete an approved, abbreviated internship II experience to allow for a 3-5-week internship abroad with one of the College of Education and Allied Professions international school partners. Interns will observe the clinical educator (CE), participate in classroom activities, and plan and teach lessons as allowed by the CE and the host school. This internship opportunity will provide valuable cross-cultural experience. Thus, the internship experience is based on three broad themes: personal and professional development, intercultural competence, and comparative educational study. Note: Interns are responsible for arranging travel to the host cost country and housing near the host school. Additionally, international medical insurance is required.
