EDM 365 - Riots, Civil Unrest and Crowd Control

Collective behavior refers to the actions of groups, and people who study collective behavior study things like crowds, crazes, rumors, panics, riots, social movements, and revolutions. Understanding the theoretical underpinnings of how these types of collective behavior may emerge will help first responders in both emergency management and law enforcement manage and control these behaviors.

Prerequisites: EDM 250  or permission of instructor.
