EE 436 - Optical Fiber Communications

Optical waveguides, attenuation and dispersion, single and multi-mode fiber properties and measurements, sources and detectors, transmitter and receiver design, modulation, and multiplexing and system design. 

Prerequisites: A grade of C or better in both EE 425  and PHYS 322 .
