EE 331 - Fundamentals of Electronics and Semiconductors Theory and applications of semiconductor devices. Ideal operational amplifier applications including difference amplifiers and instrumentation amplifiers; non-idealities of operational amplifiers and their compensation; diode/p-n junction principles and applications; bipolar transistors (BJTs) and MOSFETs principles and circuits including DC biasing, small-signal analysis, and basic amplifier configurations.
Prerequisites: A grade of C or better in EE 202 . Corequisites: EE 311 . Credits: 3
