CHEM 553 - Physical Chemistry: Quantum Chemistry and Spectroscopy

Quantum mechanics, introduction to atomic and molecular spectroscopy and applications of thermodynamics.

Prerequisites Enrollment in the Chemistry Accelerated B.S./M.S. (ABM) Track with a grade of C- or better in CHEM 232  and completion of MATH 255  and PHYS 230 ​; or enrollment in the Chemistry MS program.
