EE 465 - Foundations of Laser Electronics


Laser oscillation, excitation, amplification, dispersion, absorption, basic principles of quantum electronics, general characteristics of laser, semiconductor lasers, switching and modulation, CW lasers, pulse lasers, and applications.

Prerequisites A grade of C or better in EE 322  and the completion of PHYS 310 .
