The professional education sequence (28 hours) for special subject teaching and general electives (22 hours), and EDEL 312 are required to complete the program. At least 32 hours of the courses taken at Western Carolina University must be at the junior-senior level to meet one of the general university degree requirements. Students must maintain a minimum 2.75 GPA in the major, and no grade below a C (2.0) for any required course in the major will be accepted. Curriculum Guide for Spanish B.S.ED.

- Total Hours of Pre-requisites: 6
- Any notes or other information: Students must maintain a 2.75 GPA in the major. No grade below a C for any required course in the major will be accepted. Since courses above 302 are not offered every year, in many cases a Spanish major should take whatever upper level courses are offered in a given semester, provided he or she meets the prerequisites and corequisites (generally 301 or 302).
